About the Scheme Who can join the scheme? The business discount scheme provides a discount for small businesses in the craft and weddings markets such as wedding stationery designers and card makers. What are the benefits? Members of the scheme receive a personal code which is used to receive a discount when making on-line purchases through the website. There are 3 levels of discount based on your total spend in the previous 12 months (or since your membership was last upgraded). Current levels are:
Is there a joining fee? No membership is completely free. Is there a minimum order value? Yes, your discount code can only be used where the total value of goods purchased (excluding p&p) is £25. However, any orders placed without discount will still count towards your annual spend. Which level do I qualify for? Your starting level is decided by the total value of full price purchases in the last 12 months.
How long is my membership valid? Your discount code is valid for 12 months from its issue date. At the end of the 12 months we will review your account and issue a new discount code based on your spend in that period. The annual spend required for each level of membership is:
If you have spent less than £150 in the previous 12 months then your membership and discount code will lapse. Can I upgrade my membership to silver/gold before the 12 months is up? Yes, if you have reached the qualifying spend level. Just contact us we will verify your spend and issue you with a new discount code valid for 12 months. Remember that your qualifying spend is re-set to zero when your membership is upgraded, so it may be advantageous to delay upgrading to Silver if you expect your spend to reach Gold level shortly. Do you offer larger discounts/trade terms? Sorry, no. We are not wholesalers and this discount scheme is designed to benefit the smaller business. All orders must be paid for before delivery we dont offer credit accounts. Am I still entitled to protection under consumer legislation? Yes the relevant consumer protection laws still apply for UK and EU customers, so you can return items like any other customer. Please remember that if the value of returns takes your order below the minimum, the discount for the whole of that order will be lost and will be deducted from any refund due. How do I apply? Just complete a short application form and return it to us by email or normal post. If you are not already registered, you will need to create an account on The Wedding Crafter website.
